The Lead Team members attend a variety of conservative, evangelical churches in the Kansas City area. They are united in their passion to support the body of Christ by equipping believers to advance the kingdom of God.


 


 

John Bourdon
John is a professional chemical engineer and the CEO of John M. Campbell & Co. who specialize in equipping oil and gas engineers and operators around the world. When he is not traveling the world in that capacity, John finds most joy in his wife, Alice, as well as his children and grandchildren. In his spare time, he loves to fish and watch any version of Star Trek.


 

John graduated from Georgia Tech with a BChe and from Dallas Theological Seminary with a ThM.


 


 

Alice Bourdon

Alice's ministry experience has taken her from the overseas mission field, to development and direction of women's ministries, young adult ministry, life coaching, and director of the Grace Adventure spiritual formation/personal growth seminar.

Her love of all things beautiful, on-the-job training as a leader and developer of leaders, her solid foundation in the Sciptures, cross-cultural experience, personal growth as a disciple of Christ, as a wife, a mother of three grown children, a grandmother of three, and friend, all have equipped her to live out her unique giftedness and divine design.

Alice graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a degree in Interior Design and has an Associates Degree in Bible from Moody Bible Institute.


 


 

Janice Demoss
Janice has 30 years of cumulative experience in church work and ministry serving on the staff of two large churches in the Kansas City area and currently serving on the pastoral staff as Resource Director for a church in Lee's Summit, Missouri. She is also involved in IMPACT Networking, a group of professional women who are committed to using their professional influence to give back to the community of Lee's Summit, Missouri. 

In her free time, Janice hosts small group studies in her home, and helps her husband, Ed, with large and small scale projects on their property in Lone Jack, MO. Janice has four children and 12 grandchildren.

Janice holds her ministerial license with the Independent Assemblies of God.


 


 

Mindy Barrett
Mindy is an educator who has spent many years involved in ministry to students, women, and couples through home groups, church and neighborhood bible studies, and service to community organizations. 

Even though a Missouri resident, through the wonders of technology Mindy works for Dallas Baptist University in Dallas Texas for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, where she is also an online adjunct professor of rhetoric, composition, and professional studies.  Mindy and her husband, Bill, live in Lone Jack, Missouri where they care for her aging parents.  She is the mother of two adult daughters.

Mindy graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a master's degree in Liberal Arts.

 


 

Ann Park
Ann's true passion is working with the elderly and/or young children.  She current works as a Caregiver for senior adults and serves in children's ministry and organizes the participant support services of Grace Adventure.

Ann is married, the mother of five adult children and one grandson.  She gardening, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

 


 

Danny Park
Danny is a VA Mortgage Specialist, working with active and veteran servicemembers to utilize their VA Home Loan Benefit.  As well as his involvement in Grace Adventure, he volunteers with The Hope Center in urban Kansas City, working with middle school inner-city youth in the Leaders in Training program.  His passion is to see healing in others has led to mentoring roles in the church, as well as leading small groups for couples and offering help and support for marriages. 

He has been married for 27 years to Ann and has five children and one grandson.  Danny says the treust thing about him is that "I am still a broken man in the process of walking the journey with my friends of following Jesus. What the enemy has intended to destroy me with, God has instead used for healing, freedom, and hope.  I honestly believe I am the most blessed man alive, and this process of Grace Adventure has been a huge part of that blessing."

 


 

Dave Waller
Dave has worked 37 years of experience in the printing industry in plant operations and sales.  His various responsibilities have enabled him to develop interpersonal and communication skills for coaching, mentoring, and helping people grow.  Dave is committed to serving the Lord and fighting for the hearts of others.

He is involved with greeting, welcome, and outreach ministries with his church, is a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International, and supporter of City Union Mission in Kansas City.  Dave lives in Platte City, Missouri and has been married to his wife, Gale, for 31 years.  He has three daughters and five grandchildren.

 


 

Terri Wells
Terri has been involved in almost 40 years of volunteer service to her church and other ministries, including leading marriage/bible study groups, worship, teaching, mentoring women, bereavement ministry, building programs, and as a Theophostic Prayer facilitator.  Terri brings strong organizational skills and encouragement to Grace Adventure. 

She has been married 36 years to her husband, Terry, and is the mother of three grown children, and "Gammy" to grandson, Niko.  Terri also is a caregiver for her elderly mother. 

 


 

Terry Wells
Terry wells has almost 40 years of servant leadership to his community and church, including music, Sunday school, building, security, attending and leading bible study and marriage/training groups and participating in a church build in Haiti.  Terry has been involved in Heart to Heart and Habitat for Humanity projects.  He is a trained Theophostic Prayer facilitator. 

Terry has been married 36 years to his wife, Terri, who also serves with him on the Grace Adventure Leadership team.  He is the father of three grown children and grandfather to one grandson, Niko.
